While growing up, I often heard my parents recount how, at the age of three, they feared I had psychological troubles when they saw me lying on my back, waving my pointed index finger in the air. When they asked what I was doing, I simply replied, “I’m drawing.” This moment revealed my passion for drawing and painting.

Inspired by the human experience in a rapidly changing world, my work encompasses both traditional painting and digital art. Each piece is characterized by its own unique style and approach, yet they are all unified by a boundless use of color, atmosphere, and emotion. My aim is to evoke deep connection and reflection within viewers, allowing them to explore the multifaceted nature of human existence.

In my project “Dot Dot Dot,” I use ink on paper to depict the interconnectedness of humanity, emphasizing our shared experiences. “Lit Skins” focuses on the light reflected on the skin, using oil paint with minimal tones to create a universal and relatable identity for the figures. My latest oil paintings project, “Comme un Ballon,” showcased in Paris, encapsulates the whimsical essence of dreams, inviting viewers to discover their own sense of place within vibrant compositions.

Through my art, I strive to create a dialogue that transcends boundaries and resonates with the universal human experience.

Jimmy, a fine arts and graphic design graduate from Lebanon, made the bold decision to quit his job during the 2020 confinement to fully pursue his passion for painting. Since 2023, he has been based in France, where he continues to develop his artistic practice. His work delves into the human condition, particularly highlighting masculinity with its inherent strengths and vulnerabilities.

Jimmy creates both traditional paintings and digital art, characterized by expressive, rich, and energetic compositions. While each subject dictates its unique style and approach, his work consistently features a limitless use of color, atmosphere, and emotion.

His phygital NFT work is available on OasisX and has been showcased at events such as NFT Jordan in September 2023 and Off Record Abu Dhabi in January 2024.

Jimmy’s latest series, “Comme un Ballon,” was showcased in February 2024 at La Bulle in Paris. This series expresses the journey of life through vibrant colors, immersive atmospheres, and expressive emotions. Using the balloon as a metaphor, he shares his experiences with viewers, inviting them to explore their own sense of place.

Previous projects like “Lit Skins,” which focuses on light reflected on the skin with minimal tones, and “Dot Dot Dot Sketches,” depicting human interconnectedness through ink on paper, further reflect his exploration of the human experience.
